Bagpipes Or Pipes as the pipers would prefer them to be called are an extremely dramatic addition to any event. Primarily used to add a Scottish or Irish flavor to an event they have also become traditional for funerals and other public events and ceremonies. We offer them mostly for Weddings where you have a number of options for when to have them be part of the Wedding Ceremony. The most popular parts are - Play 20-30 minutes before the service as the guests arrive. Usually outdoors on the steps of the church Lead the Procession of the Groom and Groomsmen down the aisle. Lead the Procession of the Bride and Bridesmaids down the aisle. Lead the Recession of the Groom and Bride out of the Church. Play 10-15 minutes after the service as the guests leave. Usually outdoors.
Some requests are available but limited to the pipes capabilities as a musical instrument. They are loud although at least one Piper offers a smaller set of pipes which areless so. We can do a Cocktail Hour or s Special Entrance into Dinner. Ceremony Vocalists They are the most subjective of choices in that what I like - you may not - and vice versa. We offer several singers - male and female- who cover a wide range of voice and musical styles - Classical, Opera, Religious, Pop, Standards, Comtemporary Christian. We like to let you hear the singers either live or on a recording so that you like them. If this interests you then we can atlk about your tastes and determine who would best suit your needs and arrange to have you hear them. |
